On the 9th of June 2023, a gathering of concerned citizens demonstrated against Ashley Bloomfield's handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. He was a guest speaker at the Whirinaki events centre in Upper Hutt.

The theme of the Event was Death... as in the many deaths of New Zealanders related to the Covid 19 Vaccine.

This gathering was a reminder that not everybody agrees with a New Zealand Media that clearly has funding conflicts and a clear and unsubstantiated bias favouring the covid vaccine.

Among props brought to the event were signs of the Vaccine Injured, Grim reaper outfits, scary syringe masks, and healthy biological women were also in attendance. White, heterosexual men were also in attendance and were watched closely for suspicious behaviour. Those identifying as the grim reaper for this evening were not tallied as white or heterosexual, or human for that matter. One of the grim reapers was spotted giving an attending Police officer an explanation of trespass law.

A large Banner that read "WELCOME, SIR DR DEATH" was located at the front of the museum, and another reading "Safe and Effective... Yeah right" was located at the back.

Police were called in by a Whirinaki staff member, however they arrived to find a peaceful gathering so eventually went back to HQ to watch the super rugby playoffs, we think. The police in attendance were friendly, cordial, and professional.
